Rajesh Upadhyay is a veteran journalist with over 30 years of experience in mainstream print and digital media. He is known for his deep understanding of the media landscape and his proven ability to develop content strategies, build digital teams, establish news stations, and manage workflows for measurable results.
Formerly the Editor-in-Chief and Executive President of Jagran New Media, he now serves as Editor-in-Chief (Consulting). In this role, he has been a driving force behind Vishvas News, a key fact-checking and news verification portal, and provides leadership to other news and education portals.
Before his impactful tenure at Jagran New Media, he spent a decade as an Editor at Bhaskar Group and previously headed HT Media's Hindi website 'Hindustan' as Editor.
Academically accomplished with a Post Graduate in Journalism and Mass Communication and an alumnus of IIM Indore, Mr. Upadhyay is also a fact-checking trainer for the Google News Initiative India Training Network.
